In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the leading navigation and maps applications on iOS in Denmark showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads starting at approximately 4.5K, gradually decreasing to around 2.8K by the end of December. The app's active user base fluctuated, peaking at 487K mid-December before settling at around 463K.

Google Earth experienced a slight decrease in weekly downloads from 932 to 953 over the quarter, with a notable spike to 1.1K in the week before Christmas. Active users showed a declining trend, starting at 15.4K and ending the quarter at 11.3K.

The Øresundsbron app saw varied download numbers, with a significant surge to 5.8K in late November, followed by a stabilization around 400 downloads per week towards the end of the quarter.

Traffic Alarm - Drive safely! generated substantial revenue, peaking at $4.7K in early October. Downloads fluctuated between 219 and 485 weekly, while active users decreased from 2.7K to 2.1K over the quarter.

Lastly, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic downloads started at 587 and dropped to 464 by the end of December. Active users saw a steady decline from 6.2K to 2.3K.
